The FluxJet Kayak can reach speeds of 6+mph. This is based on a variety of factors, which main factor is the battery. Ideally a 36v, 48v, and 60v battery will reach this speed. At only 88lbs in weight, the FluxJet Kayak can be lifted onto your vehicle’s roof rack by one strong person. If necessary, anyone can use a kayak lift, a roof bar extension or a dolly to assist. The kayak scuppers allow use of any standard kayak trolley to transport it to the water, and with a completely flat hull, there’s no risk you’ll damage the motor.
The FluxJet Kayak has been designed to integrate the jet motor inside the profile of the kayak, so there are no protruding shafts, props, fins or rudders to snag on weeds or hit the bottom. You can put in reverse and clear debris.
The kayak has a battery meter and most off the shelf batteries offer bluetooth data for exact capacity readings. Also remember that slowing down just a small amount can dramatically extend your run time and range. When in doubt, just slow down a little, but our best in class group 31 battery battery storage ensures you have the maximum available power. Always carry your paddle with you, and you’ll never get stranded!
